A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, Honourable Omotunde Ayoade, on Thursday paid a courtesy visit to Honourable Olumide Jones in the United Kingdom, as part of efforts to strategize on grassroots development and strengthen unity within the party in Ifo/Ewekoro Constituency.
The strategic meeting, which took place in London, focused on building stronger collaboration among party stakeholders and repositioning the constituency for sustainable growth.
Both leaders are regarded as influential figures within the PDP and key voices in shaping the political direction of Ifo/Ewekoro.
During the engagement, Hon. Ayoade stressed that effective grassroots governance remains central to meaningful development. He maintained that closer cooperation among party leaders would ensure that policies and projects are people driven and responsive to the real needs of constituents.
According to him, unity within the party structure is fundamental to delivering impactful programmes that address community challenges and expand opportunities for residents, particularly at the grassroots level.
On his part, Hon. Jones expressed readiness to support initiatives capable of bringing measurable progress to the constituency.
He noted that collective leadership and a united front within the PDP would strengthen the party’s ability to implement development focused programmes.
