Gov Abiodun Appoints 11 Senior Special Assistants, 27 Liaison Officers

Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has approved the appointment of eleven Senior Special Assistants and twenty-seven Liaison Officers across the twenty local government areas of the state.

The governor also appointed one Special Assistant as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen governance and grassroots engagement.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Tokunbo Talabi, on Monday in Abeokuta.

Those appointed as Senior Special Assistants and the Special Assistant are Ayo Somide, Laide Okunola, Sulaimon Oduwole, Adewale Adesina, Hon. Ola Olufunmilayo, Tayo Mabeweje, Basibo Odoru, Hon. Kehinde, Ikienomore Oladipupo Adedeji, Deluola Daniel Babatunde, Doregoes Aaron Oluwatobi and Rasheed Obanla who was appointed as Special Assistant.

In the same vein, twenty-seven Liaison Officers were appointed to represent the governor across the local governments.

They include Hon. (Dr.) Wale Bello and Sulaimon Sanni for Abeokuta North, Odetayo Bolade Mutiu and Mr. Yomi Okanlawon for Abeokuta South, Alhaja Waliat Ogunbiyi and Otunba Rafiu Okewale for Ado-Odo/Ota, Hon. Olabode Sunkanmi Adegoye for Ewekoro, Kikelomo Delano and Hon. Kola Hammed Adeniji for Ifo.

Others are Hon. Owolabi Okunnuga for Ijebu East, Adeyemi Stephen and Nuberu Femi for Ijebu North, Ayo Ogunfowora for Ijebu North-East, Dr. Oluwatosin Olatokunbo for Ijebu Ode, Subomi Olufemi Agesin for Ikenne, Olusola Oke for Imeko/Afon, Hon. Wale Agbetokun for Ipokia, Aderin Dopemu for Obafemi/Owode, Musiliu Akanji Akindele for Odeda, Hon. Ladejobi Shuaib Adebayo for Odogbolu, Wale Ajayi for Ogun Waterside, Sorinola Rasheed for Remo North, Tola Olutayo popularly known as Belgium and Lizzy Jekami for Sagamu, Prince Musibau Olaleye and Micheal Olalere Ejidele for Yewa North, and Samson Salako for Yewa South.

The statement urged all the appointees to be diligent and committed to advancing the developmental drive of Governor Abiodun’s administration in line with the ISEYA mantra.
