Eagle 102.5 FM, Ogun State’s foremost radio station, has reaffirmed its leadership in the media space by winning the prestigious “Most Innovative Radio Station of the Year” award at the Ijebu Rewa Awards 2025.

The station’s recognition underscores its creative programming, impactful community engagement, and consistent delivery of quality broadcasting that resonates with listeners across Ogun State and beyond.

Adding to the celebration, Olakunle Balogun, Head of Station and the vibrant host of Frontline on Eagle 102.5 FM, received the “Media Personality of the Year” award. He was recognized for his exceptional broadcasting style, thought-provoking interviews, and fearless approach to social and political issues that have earned him wide respect and admiration within the media industry.

Chairman of the station, Asiwaju Kunle Kalejaye, dedicated the awards to Eagle FM’s loyal listeners, partners, and the entire team, reaffirming the station’s commitment to elevating the standards of radio broadcasting across the Ijebu region and Nigeria as a whole. Further justifying the recognition, he noted that, according to current MPS ratings, Eagle 102.5 FM holds the number one position in Ijebu land and ranks among the top five stations in Ogun State.

The Ijebu Rewa Awards 2025, known for celebrating excellence among individuals and organizations contributing to the growth and pride of Ijebuland, witnessed the gathering of distinguished personalities, community leaders, and media professionals.

With these double honors, Eagle 102.5 FM continues to soar higher as a trailblazer in innovative radio broadcasting and community impact.
