Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has congratulated Africa’s richest man, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, on the occasion of his 68th birthday, describing him as a shining beacon of entrepreneurship and the pride of Africa.
In a statement issued on Thursday, Governor Abiodun commended the business magnate for showcasing the spirit of resilience, innovation, and leadership that defines African potential.
“Alhaji Aliko Dangote has consistently demonstrated the zeal, determination, and entrepreneurship that are inherent in Africans,” the governor said. “At 68, he remains an inspiring figure and a pride to the continent.”
Governor Abiodun also acknowledged Dangote’s far-reaching contributions to Nigeria’s economy and development across Africa, especially in the areas of youth employment and corporate social responsibility.
“His impact on job creation, industrial development, and philanthropy cannot be over-emphasized. He has made remarkable strides that benefit not just Nigeria, but the entire African continent,” Abiodun added.
