Spiritual leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has warned that seven sitting governors in Nigeria risk losing their second-term bid ahead of the 2027 general elections.

In a prophetic message released through his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, Primate Ayodele named the governors of Akwa Ibom, Delta, Enugu, Cross River, Ondo, Kaduna and Zamfara as those whose re-election ambitions are hanging in the balance unless they take urgent spiritual and strategic actions.

“The governors of Akwa Ibom, Delta, Enugu, Cross River, Kaduna, Zamfara and Ondo must work well to get a second term in office.”

“It’s not certain for them except they work hard and pray. This is a hint of what they should be expecting,” Ayodele said.

According to the cleric, divine revelations show that without proper preparation and spiritual intervention, the affected governors may face strong resistance or political upheavals that could cost them re-election.

Primate Ayodele also issued a caution to the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, urging him to intensify his efforts if he desires to retain his leadership position beyond the current term.

“Senate President Godswill Akpabio must be very careful and prayerful to get a second term as Senate President. I see his position being traded; he must work very hard to avoid it.”

Beyond the governors and Senate leadership, Ayodele predicted a wider shake-up in the legislature, warning that several senators and members of the House of Representatives may not return in 2027.

He specifically addressed Senator Ned Nwoko of Delta State, advising him to shelve his governorship ambition, stating that “it is not yet his time.”
