The Police Service Commission (PSC) has approved the appointment of Olohundare Moshood Jimoh as the new Commissioner of Police (CP) for Lagos State Command.

Announcing the appointment on Monday afternoon, the PSC spokesperson, Ikechukwu Ani, stated that Jimoh’s selection followed an interview conducted earlier in the day by the Commission’s Chairman, retired Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Hashimu Argungu, alongside other members, including retired Supreme Court Justice Adamu Paul Galmuje and retired DIG Taiwo Lakanu.

Before his latest appointment, Jimoh was in charge of the Port Authority, Eastern Ports Command, Rivers State. He has held several key positions in the police force, including serving as Deputy Commissioner (DC) of the Airport Command, DC Finance and Administration, and DC General Investigations.
