As Muslims worldwide embark on the sacred month of Ramadan, the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Appropriations, Senator Solomon Adeola (APC, Ogun West), has urged Nigerians to use the period for fervent prayers, particularly for the success of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and the security of the nation.
In a message signed by his Media Adviser, Chief Kayode Odunaro, Senator Adeola felicitated with the Muslim community, encouraging them to reflect on the true essence of Ramadan and the values of Islam, which promote discipline, peace, good neighborliness, and love.
“We must continually pray for our dear nation to remain on the path of peace, unity, and progress”.
“Let us pray for our leaders, particularly President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and for the continued success of his administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda”.
“This fasting period presents another opportunity for communal and national supplication to Almighty Allah, seeking divine guidance and solutions to our national challenges”, he stated.
Senator Adeola expressed confidence in the reforms initiated by Tinubu’s administration, highlighting recent improvements in commodity prices and security.
He stressed that continued prayers and hard work by all Nigerians would accelerate the country’s progress.
“With the initial successes recorded in less than two years, we are witnessing positive transformations. Through persistent prayers and collective diligence, Nigeria will attain greatness in no time,” he added.
The lawmaker urged Muslims to uphold the spirit of Ramadan by promoting unity and goodwill, emphasizing that national development is a shared responsibility.
