The governorship campaign of the All Progressives Congress in Ogun State received a boost on Monday as the Otunba Tunji Oredipe (OTO) Team donated a fully equipped campaign office and other assets to the party’s governorship candidate, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as YAYI, in Ijebu North-East Local Government Area.
The campaign office, alongside vehicles and other campaign materials, was commissioned by Adeola at a ceremony attended by party leaders, supporters and residents of the council area.
Speaking at the event, the senator described the gesture as a demonstration of confidence in his governorship aspiration and pledged that the facility would strengthen grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 governorship election.
“I sincerely appreciate Otunba Tunji Oredipe and members of the OTO Team for this remarkable support. This office is not just a building, it is a symbol of commitment to our shared vision for Ogun State. It will further strengthen our mobilisation efforts as we prepare for the task ahead,” Adeola said.
The lawmaker said Ijebu North-East remained important to him, noting that his interventions in the area reflected his commitment to the welfare of the people.
According to him, projects facilitated in the local government include the reconstruction of the Atan Road, provision and energisation of electricity transformers, as well as other developmental initiatives.
“Ijebu North-East occupies a special place in my heart. That is why we have continued to facilitate projects that directly impact the lives of our people. Our commitment is to ensure that every part of Ogun State enjoys meaningful development,” he stated.
Adeola also welcomed members of the OTO political family into his political structure, assuring them of equal opportunities and active participation in the movement.
“I welcome the entire OTO political family into our structure. Everyone will have a sense of belonging and equal opportunity as we continue to build a stronger platform for the progress of Ogun State,” he added.
He said the growing support from political stakeholders across the state reflected increasing confidence in the APC’s vision for inclusive governance, sustainable development and improved welfare for the people.
