Dr. Kayode Akinsola has been appointed as the 1st Vice Chairman of the Tax Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association Section on Business Law (NBA-SBL) for a two-year term.
The appointment, which takes immediate effect, places Dr. Akinsola in a strategic leadership position within the Tax Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association Section on Business Law, one of the most influential sections of the Bar known for shaping policy discourse and professional development in corporate and commercial law practice in Nigeria.
The NBA-SBL Tax Committee plays a pivotal role in reviewing fiscal legislation, engaging with regulatory authorities, contributing to tax policy reforms, and providing thought leadership on emerging issues in taxation, compliance, and fiscal governance. As 1st Vice Chairman, Dr. Akinsola will support the Chairman in coordinating committee activities, driving research initiatives, facilitating stakeholder engagements, and promoting capacity-building programmes for legal practitioners specializing in taxation.
