Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice as Al Nassr defeated Damac FC 4-1 on the final day of the season to clinch the Saudi Pro League title for the first time in seven years.
Al Nassr secured the championship after a tense title race that went down to the last day following their late slip against Al Hilal a week earlier.
Sadio Mane and Kingsley Coman had earlier given Al Nassr a comfortable lead before Morlaye Sylla reduced the deficit for Damac.
Ronaldo, however, sealed the victory with two second-half goals, including a stunning tight-angle free-kick and a close-range finish that sparked celebrations among the club’s supporters.
The triumph marks Al Nassr’s first Saudi Pro League title since 2019 and represents Ronaldo’s first league success since joining the Saudi club in January 2023.
The 41-year-old forward has now scored 127 goals for Al Nassr in all competitions, with his latest strikes taking his career tally to 973 goals.
Ronaldo had earlier reached 100 Saudi Pro League goals this season, further underlining his influence at the club since his arrival in the Middle East.
