My precious son, Omosanya Jamaldeen Olafimihan, today you are two, and my heart is filled with gratitude, joy and overwhelming love. Two beautiful years have passed since you came into my life and gave me a new reason to smile every day. Watching you grow from a tiny baby into the cheerful, curious and amazing little boy you are today has been one of the greatest blessings of my life.
Jamal, you have brought a special kind of happiness into our home. Your laughter brightens our days, your little adventures keep us smiling, and your innocent ways remind me of the beauty in the simplest things. Every new word you learn, every step you take and every little achievement fills my heart with pride. You may not understand it yet, but you are deeply loved, cherished and prayed for.
As your mother, my greatest desire is to see you grow into a man of character, wisdom, courage and compassion. I pray that God guides your steps, protects you from harm and surrounds you with good people throughout your journey.
