Ogun Schools Resume April 28 for Third Term

The Ogun State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has announced that all public and private primary and secondary schools, as well as government science and technical colleges across the state, are to resume for third term activities of the 2024/2025 academic session on Monday, April 28, 2025.

This was contained in a statement issued by the Honourable Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Abayomi A. Arigbabu.

Prof. Arigbabu urged parents and guardians to make adequate preparations for their children and wards, stressing that academic activities would commence immediately upon resumption.

“Parents and guardians are enjoined to prepare their wards for immediate resumption as academic work will commence without any delay,” the Commissioner stated.

The Ministry expressed appreciation to all stakeholders for their cooperation and emphasized the importance of early preparation to ensure a smooth and successful term.

Prof. Arigbabu reiterated the government’s commitment to sustaining excellence in the education sector, noting that “the Ministry remains focused on providing a conducive environment for effective teaching and learning across all schools in the state.”
