In a heartfelt tribute, the Olowu of Owu Kingdom, Oba Prof. Saka Matemilola, has congratulated renowned journalist, broadcaster, and public relations strategist, Dr. Ayo Arowojolu, on his 58th birthday, praising his ethical values and lifelong commitment to national development.

Oba Matemilola, who also serves as the Chairman of the Boiling Point Council of Royals and Elders—a platform founded by Dr. Arowojolu—described the celebrant as “a journalist of distinction” whose contributions to media and civic enlightenment stand tall in Nigeria’s democratic journey.

In a personal letter to Dr. Arowojolu, the monarch lauded his patriotism and dedication to advancing good governance through robust public discourse.

“Dear Dr. Arowojolu, today, as you celebrate your birthday, we take a moment to recognise and appreciate a truly exceptional individual—an ethical communicator, a visionary, and a steadfast champion of meaningful discourse and national progress,” Oba Matemilola wrote.

He continued: “Your unwavering dedication to fostering informed and enlightened conversations through the Boiling Point Arena is a testament to your courage and commitment to truth.”

Oba Matemilola highlighted the enduring impact of Dr. Arowojolu’s initiatives, particularly the Boiling Point media platform, which he described as not only a stage for national dialogue but a legacy in civic engagement.

“You have not only built a platform but also a legacy—one that continues to inspire, educate, and challenge perspectives for the betterment of society,” the monarch added.

Offering prayers for the new age, Oba Matemilola expressed hope that Dr. Arowojolu’s voice and influence would continue to shape public narratives and uplift lives.

“May your voice continue to shape narratives, your wisdom influence minds, and your presence uplift those around you,” the monarch stated. “Here’s to many more years of purposeful living, impactful service, and well-earned recognition.”
