Mrs. Fausat Akinbo has emerged as the second Coordinator of the Ogun State chapter of the Women in Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (formerly NAWORG), following a leadership meeting held on Monday in Abeokuta.

In her acceptance speech, Akinbo extended deep gratitude to the pioneer Coordinator, Mrs. Cynthia Saka, and other members for entrusting her with the new role.

“I am truly honored by the confidence placed in me,” Akinbo said. “I pledge to seize every opportunity to reposition and redefine our association’s vision. With unity and commitment, we will build a more vibrant and impactful platform for women in business.”

She assured members of her readiness to foster growth, enhance collaboration, and amplify the voices of women entrepreneurs across the state.

In a show of support, the pioneer Coordinator, Mrs. Cynthia Saka, offered words of encouragement and prayed for a successful tenure.

“May Almighty God grant you the strength, wisdom, and all it takes to navigate this ship to the desired destination of glory,” Saka said, expressing optimism about the association’s future under Akinbo’s leadership.
