Super Falcons striker, Asisat Oshoala, has arrived in Saudi Arabia to undergo medical examinations ahead of a move to Saudi Women’s League side, Al Hilal.

Reports from The Athletic confirmed that Bay FC and Al Hilal reached an agreement for the Nigerian international before the close of the transfer window.

The deal, sealed for an undisclosed fee, brings Oshoala closer to joining one of the biggest clubs in the Middle East.

Oshoala, who joined Bay FC in February 2024 from Barcelona Women, was absent from the American club’s squad in their 2-1 defeat to Angel City on Monday night.

During her 18 months in the United States, she made 38 appearances, scoring eight goals, but her playing time reduced significantly last season.

The 30-year-old forward boasts a decorated career, having played for Rivers Angels in Nigeria, Liverpool and Arsenal in England, Barcelona in Spain, as well as Dalian Quanjian in China. She was part of the Super Falcons team that clinched their 10th Women’s Africa Cup of Nations title in Morocco in July.

If the medical is successful, Oshoala will officially be unveiled as Al Hilal’s new signing, marking another milestone in her illustrious career.
