In a continued show of dedication to the growth and stability of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogun State, Hon. Olumide Jones has extended his generous support to two key local party secretariats Ewekoro and Ifo Local Government Areas with the donation of three dozen (36) plastic chairs, two tables, and a financial token to each secretariat for renovation and administrative use.
The twin donations, which took place today in both local government areas, reflect Hon. Jones’ deep commitment to strengthening the PDP’s grassroots structures and fostering a more conducive environment for party operations, meetings, and coordination.
At the Ewekoro PDP Secretariat, the donation was received with excitement and gratitude by party members and leaders, who described the gesture as timely and impactful. Speaking on behalf of the members, a women leader commended Hon. Jones for his selfless contributions, saying, “His generosity continues to inspire unity and confidence among party faithful.”
Similarly, at the Ifo PDP Secretariat, the Local Government Secretary and the Collegiate Secretary jointly received the furniture and financial support on behalf of the party.
They praised Hon. Jones for his consistency and unwavering commitment to the development of the party, describing him as “a true leader who invests in the foundation of progress.”
In his remarks at both locations, Hon. Jones reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to building a stronger and more united PDP in Ogun State.
He emphasized that functional secretariats are essential for effective coordination, communication, and mobilization at the grassroots level, noting that the strength of any political party lies in its ability to operate efficiently from the grassroots.
He urged members across the two local government areas to remain steadfast, united, and focused on the collective vision of service, inclusivity, and growth that defines the PDP, while assuring them of his continued support for the party’s activities and development.
The events were well-attended by party executives, ward leaders, youth representatives, and supporters, who lauded Hon. Jones for his leadership qualities, humility, and enduring passion for grassroots empowerment.
