Ile-Ife, Osun State – A short but widely discussed exchange between Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, and Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, at the 10th coronation anniversary of Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has continued to spark conversation online.
The incident occurred on Sunday during the event, which also marked the installation of Senator Tinubu as ‘Yeye Asiwaju Gbogbo Ile Oodua’. Video footage circulating on social media shows Governor Adeleke singing while addressing the audience when the First Lady approached the podium.
“I’ll give you five minutes to conclude your speech. Enough with the music, or I’ll switch off the microphone,” she said in a low tone to the governor.
