The Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has approved the appointment of new board members for key state agencies, including the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), the Ogun State Housing Corporation, the Water Corporation, the Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Board, and the Agricultural Development Corporation.

This was disclosed in a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Tokunbo Talabi.

Ogun Invests ₦1bn in AI Classroom for Public School

According to the statement, Hon. Ifede Joshua has been appointed Chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), with Barr. Femi Odufowokan, Hon. Isiaka Aderounmu, Abiodun Donald Ajayi, and Rt. Hon. Akeem Balogun serving as members. Other ex-officio members of the board include Mrs. Kemi Adeogun, Hon. Wale Adeogun, Hon. Waheed Ogundele, Stephen Kolawole Odusanya, and Hon. Moroof Paramole.

For the Ogun State Housing Corporation, Hon. Yemi Adelani was named Chairman, alongside members Hon. Suraju Logere, Fatai Ajigbare, Olalotan Olusegun, Sunday Sowunmi, Chief Sogbamu Ayinde, Mr. Kolawole Isola, Alhaji Abiola Logere, Hon. Idowu Olumuyiwa, Mr. Adeyinka Adeleye, and Adenle Nojeem.

The Ogun State Water Corporation will be chaired by Johnson Fatoki, with Akeran Jimoh, Engr. Femi Oyebanjo, Hon. Gafar Balogun, Hon. Omowunmi Adewale, and Mrs. Ganiyat Abiola Busari appointed as members.

Hon. Wale Habeeb Ajayi was named Chairman of the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Board, while Hon. Waliu Taiwo will chair the Ogun State Agricultural Development Corporation.

Governor Abiodun expressed confidence that the newly appointed individuals will bring their experience and expertise to drive the state’s development agenda across the various sectors.
