Nollywood actress Peju Ogunmola has been thrown into deep mourning following the death of her only son, Ayomikun, barely two months after he completed his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme.
The sad news was made public by actress Biola Adebayo, who took to Instagram on Tuesday to share her grief. Posting a lit candle and broken heart emoji, she wrote,
“This is a big loss. This is devastating and heartbreaking. May God almighty comfort mummy Peju Ogunmola who just lost her only child. May God almighty be with the family and loved ones at this tough time.”
Several Nollywood stars including Odunlade Adekola, Femi Adebayo, Wumi Toriola and Femi Branch have also expressed their condolences on social media, describing the incident as tragic and praying for strength for Ogunmola and her family.
Ayomikun’s sudden death has left fans and colleagues in shock, with many flooding social media platforms with condolence messages and tributes to the late young man.
