The spiritual leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Lagos, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has declared that Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, will win re-election in 2026, insisting that his victory is divinely ordained.
Speaking at an empowerment programme organized by the church in Lagos, Primate Ayodele reaffirmed that Governor Adeleke’s second-term victory is already sealed by God, regardless of the level of opposition he faces.
“According to the revelation shown to me by God, Governor Adeleke has been ordained to rule Osun State once again, no matter how the contest may be,” Ayodele stated.
The event was attended by notable dignitaries, including Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo, represented by his Chief of Staff, and Senator Abiodun Olujimi from Ekiti State.
Primate Ayodele recalled his previous prophecy in 2017 when he told Adeleke that he would win the 2018 governorship election but would not assume office.
“Your Excellency, let me remind you. In 2018, you were in the Senate. I came to your house, a white-story building along the road. I told you that you would win but that they would rob you of victory. You stood up, screamed, and later danced to give thanks to God. When the election was rigged, I gave thanks to God for the grace He gave me to deliver His message to you,” he recounted.
He praised Adeleke’s humility, recalling how the governor personally escorted him to his car after their meeting.
Addressing the opposition, Primate Ayodele revealed that his friendship with former Osun State Governor, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, ended after he prophesied that Oyetola would lose the 2022 election.
“Oyetola was my friend. I told him he would lose the election, but he refused to listen to the voice of God. That was what led to our separation,” he explained.
He maintained that Oyetola or any candidate fielded by the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2026 would suffer defeat at the hands of Adeleke.
“If APC should field Oyetola in 2026, he will still lose. Anybody the APC presents will be beaten by Adeleke. It is divine,” the cleric affirmed.
Describing himself as a “controversial prophet” who is undeterred by criticism, Primate Ayodele urged Adeleke to remain in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), saying the party has been chosen by God to retain power in Osun State.
“Asiwaju Sir, please keep doing the best that you’re doing for the people of Osun State. There is no magic wand that can save APC. Even if Tinubu comes to Osun to campaign for APC and Oyetola, you will win,” he declared.
