Chrisland University, Abeokuta, is set to host the second edition of its prestigious Law Dinner on Friday, June 13, 2025, at 4:00 PM, within the Central Marquee on campus.

The event is a key part of the institution’s growing tradition to foster legal excellence, academic brilliance, and professional mentorship among its law students. It will bring together a blend of law students, legal academics, members of the Bar and Bench, and other stakeholders in the legal sector.

Under the dynamic leadership of the Vice Chancellor, Professor Oyeduni Sola Arulogun, Chrisland University has continually emphasized holistic education and the development of character alongside academic pursuits.

According to the Dean, College of Law, Dr. Kayode Akinsola, the Law Dinner plays a vital role in shaping the professional outlook of budding lawyers.

“This dinner is more than a social event,” he said. “It’s an essential platform that immerses our students in the traditions, decorum, and ethical expectations of the legal profession—beyond the four walls of the classroom.”

Highlights of the evening will include a keynote address by a renowned legal luminary, a live mock trial by law students, goodwill messages, and the presentation of awards to deserving individuals who have made significant contributions to legal education and practice.

The university noted that the upcoming dinner is expected to surpass the success of its maiden edition, further strengthening Chrisland’s profile as a premier destination for legal studies in Nigeria.

“Chrisland Law Dinner is gradually becoming a landmark event in our academic calendar.”

“It’s where we connect theory with practice, and it motivates us to aim higher in our pursuit of legal excellence,” a student representative remarked.
