As Muslims across the globe mark this year’s Eid-il-Kabir, the Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has extended warm greetings to the Muslim Ummah, praising their faith, resilience, and daily sacrifices toward building a better Osun.

In a special Sallah message released on Thursday, Governor Adeleke emphasized the spiritual essence of the celebration, calling it a “powerful reflection of obedience and trust in divine will,” as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim and Prophet Ismail.

“Eid-il-Kabir is not just a celebration—it is a powerful reflection of obedience and trust in divine will.”

“Their story teaches us that genuine sacrifice, offered with sincerity and total submission, never goes unrewarded,” the Governor said.

Governor Adeleke used the occasion to commend the people of Osun for their unwavering support and resilience despite prevailing economic and social challenges.

“As your Governor, I see the daily sacrifices you, the great people of Osun, make in the pursuit of a better future.”

“I recognize your patience, your strength, and your steadfast belief in the vision of this administration. I want to assure you: your sacrifices will not be in vain,” he noted.

The Governor reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to transformational governance, citing ongoing investments in healthcare, education, infrastructure, and economic empowerment.

“This government is committed to repaying your trust with bold and impactful governance.”

“We are undertaking life-changing projects across sectors because we believe Osun people deserve nothing but the best,” he said.

Governor Adeleke called on residents to use the festive period for spiritual renewal and recommitment to values of compassion, unity, and community service.

“Let this Eid be a time of spiritual renewal, reflection, and compassion. Let us recommit ourselves to helping the needy, lifting up one another, and building stronger communities,” he said.

He concluded by urging continuous prayers for the state and the success of his administration. “With your support and Almighty Allah’s guidance, Osun will continue to rise and shine as a model of development and peace not just in Nigeria, but across Africa.”

“Barka da Sallah! Eid Mubarak! May the blessings of this season fill our hearts and homes with peace and joy,” Governor Adeleke added.
