Fresh FM, a popular radio station owned by gospel singer Yinka Ayefele, is reportedly on fire in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The incident was made public by Samuel Ibikunle Arugbobois, an on-air personality with the station, who posted an urgent call for help on Facebook on Friday.
“Fresh FM is currently on fire! We urgently need the Fire Service to respond immediately. Please spread the word and alert the nearest station,” his post read.
As of the time of filing this report, the cause of the fire and the extent of damage remain unclear. Efforts are ongoing to get official comments from the management of Fresh FM and the Oyo State Fire Service.
