Nigerian content creator, Ayomiposi Oluwadahunsi Adefolarin, popularly known as Mandy Kiss, has vowed to press ahead with her controversial attempt to have sexual intercourse with 100 men in 24 hours, despite outright rejection by the Guinness World Records (GWR).
Earlier this week, Mandy Kiss stirred public debate after announcing via a flyer that the attempt would take place in Ikorodu, Lagos, on October 30. Her post quickly gained traction online, drawing both criticism and curiosity.
Reacting to the announcement, the Guinness World Records, through its official X handle, distanced itself from the attempt, saying it does not recognise or endorse such activities and cannot monitor them.
But Mandy Kiss, in a viral video, insisted she would not back down. She accused those opposed to her plan of attempting to police her personal choices and stressed that she would go ahead regardless of official rejection.
“Nobody can stop me from sleeping with 100 men. I’m the owner of my body. If you don’t record it, I will record it myself,” she declared.
Her defiance has sparked questions about regulation of social media content and the role of Nigerian authorities in curbing what many have described as an “indecent” publicity stunt.
Some critics argue that the government has been slow in addressing a growing wave of extreme challenges and record-attempts that gain attention online, often without ethical checks or social responsibility.
Analysts warn that beyond personal freedom, the issue exposes gaps in Nigeria’s moral regulation, entertainment laws, and digital content oversight. Civil society organisations are also calling on agencies like the National Film and Video Censors Board, and even the Broadcasting Commission, to take a stance on what they term a “dangerous trend of viral obscenity.”
As the countdown to the proposed date continues, public opinion remains divided between those who defend Mandy Kiss’s right to her body and those who see the act as a mockery of decency that portrays Nigeria in bad light.
