The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has directed all candidates seeking admission for the 2025 academic session to re-upload their West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) results on its portal.

The examination body explained that the order affects candidates who had earlier uploaded their results before the official release of the 2025 WAEC results, noting that all previously uploaded records have been cleared from its system.

In its weekly bulletin released on Monday, JAMB stated that the move was necessary to eliminate discrepancies and ensure that only authentic results are used during admission processing.

According to the Board, “Some candidates who sat for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME, with ‘awaiting results’ had prematurely uploaded incomplete WAEC records before the final release.”

“To address this, JAMB has mandated a fresh upload for every candidate, irrespective of whether the new results differ from those uploaded earlier.”

The Board advised all UTME candidates to urgently re-upload their 2025 SSCE results on the JAMB portal to avoid disqualification from admission consideration.

Meanwhile, JAMB also restated the deadlines for tertiary institutions to conclude admissions for the 2025 academic year. Public universities are to finalise admissions by October 31, private universities by November 30, while all other institutions including polytechnics and colleges of education must complete the process by December 31, 2025.
