Nollywood actress Chika Ike has dismissed social media speculations linking billionaire and politician, Senator Ned Nwoko, to her child’s paternity.

The actress, in a statement on her Instagram handle on Tuesday, made it clear that Nwoko was not the father of her child and cautioned against baseless speculations about her private life.

“There have been all sorts of lies peddled about me in the media for years, but I always treated them like what they are – rumors that needed no response.

“But this is different. This is about my child… You all do not know anything about me! Because you can’t! Except I choose to disclose. Yes, I’m that private!

“Ned isn’t the father of my child, and whoever’s name you might come up with later in your guessing games, I have said it before – I’m not about to be anyone’s seventh wife! Polygamy isn’t for me,” she stated.

This reaction comes after Ned Nwoko, who is married to fellow actress Regina Daniels, had earlier refuted the claims on his social media handle, describing them as false and baseless.

Ike also addressed those spreading the false rumors, urging them to “keep digging” while emphasizing that she is fully enjoying her pregnancy journey.

“My privacy is my peace, and no one can unsettle me. I’m basking in the euphoria of my pregnancy, and that’s all that matters to me now,” she added.
