President Bola Tinubu has reaffirmed his commitment to empowering Nigerian youth, pledging to support their aspirations and create a better future for them.
Speaking during the inauguration of the National Youth Conference planning committee on Monday, Tinubu emphasized the vital role young Nigerians play in the country’s economic growth and development.
“I am with you! This was my message today to the heart of our nation—our youth—as I inaugurated the National Youth Conference planning committee,” he said.
The president highlighted the significance of youth in Nigeria’s progress, noting that they make up over 60% of the nation’s population.
He assured them of his unwavering support in clearing obstacles that hinder their growth and success.
“To our Nigerian youth: You hold the advancement of this economy in your hands. You represent over 60% of our population. I will continue to help navigate, push, and lift the heavy weights so I can clear the path for you to have a great future,” Tinubu stated.
Reaffirming his administration’s commitment to youth development, he added: “I will do everything to make Nigeria a better place for young people and all Nigerians.”
