The organisers of the BAM Entrepreneur Awards have announced the commencement of online nominations for the 2025 edition of the prestigious event.
Birthed to recognise and appreciate business owners and individuals contributing to Africa’s economic growth, the BAM Entrepreneur Awards celebrate those creating employment and other income-generating opportunities through entrepreneurship, inspiring others to become founders in their own right.
Since its launch in October 2018, the platform has evolved into a convening point for actors in the youthful entrepreneurship ecosystem, connecting entrepreneurs with investors, policymakers, not-for-profit leaders, and industry influencers to address challenges and develop lasting solutions.
The awards are designed to retain, reward, and recognise founders of scalable micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) — widely regarded as the driving force for Africa’s place in the global economy. Special emphasis is placed on spotlighting young and often unknown entrepreneurs who demonstrate grit, passion, and resilience in building their brands despite daunting odds.
Organisers stated that any successful entrepreneur or CEO of a reputable, registered company is eligible for nomination. The focus will be on those with breakthrough stories and measurable positive impact in their communities and industries.
“We are inviting the public to nominate successful entrepreneurs or enterprising young trailblazers deserving of recognition,” the statement read.
Nominations can be submitted online by completing the form available on the official BAM Magazine website at www.bammagazine.com.ng/nomination.
The 2025 BAM Entrepreneur Awards ceremony will gather distinguished guests from across the continent to celebrate hard work, innovation, and the enduring spirit of Africa’s young business leaders.
