The Class of 2025 at Olashore International School, Iloko Ijesa, Osun State, officially bowed out on Saturday, July 12, as the school held its valedictory service at the Oba Okunade Sijuwade Auditorium.

The event, marked by emotion and celebration, brought together students, parents, staff, and dignitaries to honour the achievements of the graduating class and usher them into a new phase of life.

Guest speaker at the ceremony, Mr. Temitope Runsewe, in a message titled “Legacy Does Not Start Later, It Starts Now,” urged the students to begin shaping their futures immediately. He recalled how the values instilled in him at Olashore laid the foundation for his life and career.

“What you do today echoes into your tomorrow. Legacy isn’t a future goal, it’s a present responsibility,” he told the graduands.

The event featured musical presentations by the school’s choir and orchestral team, as well as a cultural performance that celebrated the school’s diversity and heritage.

Earlier, the Head Girl delivered a welcome speech that reflected on the unity and resilience of the graduating set. She described the Class of 2025 as “a family that stood through challenges and grew together.”

The Head of Academics formally presented the students to the audience, while the Head of School, in her address, expressed pride in the class, commending their academic efforts and leadership qualities.

In a symbolic close to the ceremony, the outgoing Head Boy led his peers in singing the school anthem for the final time. The event ended with prayers for the students’ future and a recessional led by the Head of School.
