As the political temperature gradually builds up ahead of the 2026 governorship election in Osun State, Abuja-based lawyer and human rights advocate, Pelumi Olajengbesi, on Thursday officially launched the IMOLE Grassroots Mobilization Network in support of Governor Ademola Adeleke’s re-election bid.

The launch took place at Ward 3 in Ijebu Ijesa, under Oriade Local Government Area, drawing over 1,000 politically active individuals renowned for their grassroots mobilization skills.

Speaking at the event, Olajengbesi stressed that the movement was designed to consolidate the achievements of Governor Adeleke and lay a solid foundation for his return to office in 2026.

“We are here today not just to gather, but to organize and mobilize for a greater Osun State under the continued leadership of Governor Ademola Adeleke.”

“His performance so far is a testament to what good governance looks like. The IMOLE spirit is alive and shining,” Olajengbesi declared.

The rights advocate said the goal of the IMOLE Network is to energize the grassroots and ensure that young people are not left behind in the electoral process.

“As young people, we must take charge of our political future by actively participating in the process.”

“The time is now—2026 is around the corner, and we must shape the future we want,” he said.

Olajengbesi added that the IMOLE Network would spread across all local governments in Osun State to consolidate support for the governor’s second-term ambition.

“You can take part in this process across Osun. This is not a one-off—it is the beginning of a movement rooted in progress and people-centered leadership,” he added.
