The Theatre Arts Alumni of the Federal College of Education (FCE), Abeokuta, has announced plans to hold its grand Alumni Feast on October 31 and November 1, 2025, at the Theatre Arts Complex, FCE Osiele, Abeokuta, Ogun State.

The two-day event promises a rich line-up of activities aimed at rekindling old memories, strengthening bonds, and celebrating the creativity that defines the Theatre Arts family.

According to the organisers, the programme will feature networking sessions, monologue showcases, stage games and improvisation, varieties, panel discussions, poetry and dance performances, as well as a unity improvised playlet.

The Alumni Feast will also witness the inauguration of the new alumni executives, presentation of awards, live musical performances, bonfire and gyration, creating a blend of cultural and artistic expressions for all participants.

Speaking on the essence of the event, one of the conveners explained that it is more than a reunion. “This is about returning to our roots, celebrating where it all began and appreciating the creative journey that started from this stage. It is about one stage, endless memories, and the bond that continues to unite us as alumni,” the convener stated.

Beyond the entertainment, the Alumni Feast is also expected to serve as a platform for intellectual engagement. With its panel discussions and interactive sessions, alumni will be sharing industry insights, mentoring younger students, and exploring ways to further promote Theatre Arts in the academic and professional space.

The organising committee hinted that the event will also be an avenue to spotlight outstanding alumni who have excelled in different spheres of life. Their stories of resilience and achievement are expected to inspire the next generation of Theatre Arts students to embrace their creativity and remain committed to their passion.

With the anticipation already building, members of the alumni body are optimistic that the Alumni Feast will not only reconnect old classmates but also create new partnerships, collaborations, and opportunities within and beyond the walls of the institution.
