Nigerian music star, Tiwatope Omolara Savage, popularly known as Tiwa Savage, has revealed that her next partner must be a man with luxury, stability and free from baby mama complications.
Speaking in an interview on Apple Music 1, the award-winning singer, who turned 45 this year, said her search for love has been challenging because of her “specific” demands.
“I’m still looking for someone’s son. I don’t have any [partner]. And I think it is because I’m asking for specific things. Maybe I need to narrow my search down,” she said.
“I’m actually looking for someone who has a private plane, yacht; someone who doesn’t have baby mama drama because I can’t deal with that. Maybe that’s my problem.”
The ‘Somebody’s Son’ crooner admitted she has never truly experienced love, revealing in a separate conversation with Zeze Mills that her only genuine love has been for her son, Jamil.
“I’ve never felt true love except with my son. Looking back at my relationships, even my marriage, I realise it wasn’t love,” she stated.
Reflecting further, Tiwa Savage expressed doubts about ever finding lasting love, despite several attempts. “I’ve tried repeatedly, so maybe love isn’t meant for me in this lifetime,” she added.
