The stage is set for the 2025 CAF Nations Cup as the draws for the tournament have been concluded, revealing six competitive groups.

The tournament, scheduled to hold from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026, promises exciting matchups as 24 of Africa’s best teams vie for continental glory.

In Group A, Morocco will face Mali, Zambia, and Comoros. The group is expected to be competitive, with Morocco and Mali seen as the likely favorites.

Group B features a battle between Egypt, South Africa, Angola, and Zimbabwe. Football fans anticipate thrilling matches as Egypt, known for its strong footballing history, takes on the challenge posed by South Africa and Angola.

Nigeria has been drawn into Group C, where the Super Eagles will face Tunisia, Uganda, and Tanzania. With Nigeria boasting a rich football legacy, this group promises to deliver some intense encounters.

Group D sees defending champions Senegal squaring off against DR Congo, Benin, and Botswana. Many football pundits consider Senegal the favorites in this group, but surprises cannot be ruled out.

In Group E, Algeria will battle Burkina Faso, Equatorial Guinea, and Sudan. The Algerian team, known for its attacking flair, will be keen to dominate this group.

Group F, widely regarded as the “group of death,” pits host nation Côte d’Ivoire against Cameroon, Gabon, and Mozambique. This group is expected to deliver high-stakes drama as some of Africa’s strongest teams compete for supremacy.

Football enthusiasts across the continent are eagerly awaiting the tournament, which is set to showcase the best of African football talent. The competition will not only crown a new champion but also celebrate the unity and diversity of African nations through the beautiful game.
