The Ogun State House of Assembly has stepped into the contractual dispute between Bluestone Garden City, in which Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo has stakes, and Arc-View Investment Limited, as both parties seek an amicable resolution to the ongoing land transaction issues.

At a meeting convened at the Assembly Complex in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, the House Committees on Lands and Housing, as well as Justice, Ethics, and Public Petitions, engaged with the legal representatives of both firms.

Bluestone Garden City was represented by Chief Abolade Fasanu (SAN) and Barrister Dapo Opakunle, while Arc-View Investment Limited was led by its CEO, Segun Oshundairo.

Chairing the session, Hon. Damilola Soneye emphasized the Assembly’s commitment to ensuring peace and protecting the rights of all parties involved.

“Our priority as lawmakers is the security of lives and properties, as well as fostering peaceful coexistence among residents of Ogun State$.

“This intervention is necessary to prevent any potential disruption that could arise from this dispute”, he stated.

Barrister Opakunle, speaking on behalf of Bluestone Garden City, detailed the series of engagements between the two firms, revealing that efforts to finalize an agreement had previously failed, prompting legal action.

“We have exhausted several avenues to resolve this matter, but unfortunately, those efforts did not yield results. That is why we had to take legal steps to protect our interests,” he explained.

On the other hand, Segun Oshundairo, CEO of Arc-View Investment Limited, expressed regret over the delays that had led to concerns among estate subscribers.

He also publicly apologized to Pastor Ashimolowo and the representatives of Bluestone Garden City, acknowledging the inconveniences caused by the prolonged negotiations.

“Pastor Ashimolowo is a respected figure, and Bluestone Garden City has always been a valued partner. I sincerely apologize for the delays in concluding this transaction, as it has caused distress to our subscribers,” Oshundairo admitted.
