The National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) will hold its 33rd Inaugural Lecture on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at its headquarters in Jabi, Abuja.
The lecture will be delivered by Professor Gloria O. Anetor, a distinguished scholar and Professor of Public Health Education at the Faculty of Health Sciences. She will speak on the theme: “Achieving the One Health Concept: A Mission Impossible Without Public Health Education.”
The event is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. at the university’s Conference Centre, with the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Olufemi Peters, serving as the Chief Host.
Speaking ahead of the event, a university official noted that, “Professor Anetor’s lecture will bring to the forefront the critical intersection of human, animal, and environmental health, and the pivotal role of public health education in achieving a holistic health system.”
