In a statement issued on Thursday by his spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, Governor Adeleke highlighted Prince Abiodun’s distinguished public service, describing him as “a visionary leader whose commitment to excellence and development continues to yield enduring progress for Ogun State and its people.”

“Through Governor Abiodun, I’ve come to appreciate the worth of true friendship,” Adeleke was quoted as saying. “A hearty cheers to a leader of immense importance, His Excellency Governor Dapo Abiodun.”

The Osun governor commended Abiodun’s bold leadership style and political maturity, noting that his approach to governance has brought about sustainable peace and meaningful growth across key sectors of the state’s economy.

“Governor Abiodun has shown remarkable capacity in conflict management, ensuring tranquility and fostering development in Ogun State,” Adeleke added.

He also praised the Ogun State Governor for his inclusive and people-oriented leadership style, saying, “His culture of non-violence and all-inclusive governance has earned him admirers across political divides.”

Reflecting on Abiodun’s six-year leadership so far, Adeleke acknowledged major strides recorded under his administration. “In six years as Governor, Dapo Abiodun has restored hopes and created a future of possibilities for the people of Ogun State. From the wise investment in bolstering the education sector to revamping public infrastructure for increased accessibility, Governor Abiodun showed even his worst critic the power of good governance,” he stated.

“As he marks a new age, I celebrate him for the visible impacts he has made over the years, and I also honour the creativity he has brought to governance,” Adeleke further remarked.

He concluded his tribute with prayers for Abiodun’s continued good health and enduring impact, saying, “May God Almighty bless Governor Dapo Abiodun with good health and sound mind while also hoping for more years of impactful contributions to Ogun State and the nation as a whole.”
