The management of IRI 96.1 FM, Ibadan, has appointed Mrs Solomon Peace Olubukola, daughter of the station’s Chief Executive Officer and proprietor, His Eminence Apostle (Dr) SMO Mustapha, as Acting General Manager following the decision of the former GM, Ajibola Akinyefa, to step aside.
The appointment, which takes immediate effect, was announced by the station’s management after Akinyefa stepped aside from the position last week.
According to the announcement, Olubukola is expected to oversee the day-to-day operations of the station and supervise its activities, including administrative decisions, programming, personnel management and other aspects of its operations.
The management said the appointment was intended to ensure continuity in the station’s operations and provide clear leadership as it pursues its broadcasting objectives.

“The appointment is aimed at ensuring continuity in the station’s operations and providing clear leadership as IRI 96.1 FM moves forward with its broadcasting objectives,” the announcement stated.
The management wished Olubukola success in her new role and reaffirmed its commitment to the station’s growth, professionalism and continued development.
