Popular Nigerian broadcaster and media personality, Daddy Freeze, has officially joined The Honest Bunch podcast as a new co-host, replacing Nedu Wazobia who exited the show earlier this year under controversial circumstances.
The announcement was made on Sunday night via the podcast’s official Instagram page, which featured a redesigned promotional poster introducing Daddy Freeze as part of the hosting team.
“The Honest Bunch podcast just got more unfiltered. Get ready for hotter takes, deeper convos, and unapologetic honesty. Say hello to our latest addition #daddyfreeze,” the post read.
Daddy Freeze also confirmed the news on his personal Instagram account, reposting the artwork with a bold caption: “A New Era Has Begun.”
His arrival comes about four months after Nedu stepped down as the face of the podcast. The former host left amidst allegations that he had used the platform to demand sexual favours from aspiring female entertainers in exchange for podcast appearances—claims that stirred heated debates across social media.
With Daddy Freeze now at the helm, fans and critics alike are eager to see the direction the show will take. Known for his candid takes on social, religious, and political issues, Daddy Freeze’s inclusion is expected to further amplify the podcast’s signature no-holds-barred style.
As one fan commented under the announcement post, “This combo go scatter everywhere. Freeze no dey fear anybody.”
