The Abeokuta Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (ABEOCCIMA) has been thrown into mourning following the death of its trustee and past president, Alhaji Chief Surajudeen Adebisi Bada.
Bada, who was also a past Chairman of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), Mosinmi Depot, and Chief Executive Officer of Surrybee Nigeria Limited, died in the early hours of Monday, September 8, 2025.
The demise was announced in a statement by the Executive Secretary of ABEOCCIMA, Alhaji Rahmon Maku, which read:
“INNA LILLAHI WA INNA ILAEHI RAJIUNA!
With a deep sense of sorrow, we announce the demise of the ABEOCCIMA trustee & past president, and past chairman of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), Mosinmi Depot, Alhaji Chief Surajudeen Adebisi Bada, FCNA – CEO, Surry Bee Nigeria Limited.
Janaza/burial will take place today at Sunnah Cemetery, Olomore, Abeokuta at 2:00pm.
May Almighty Allah grant repose to his soul and admit him into Al Jannah Firdaus (Amin).”
Until his death, Alhaji Bada was the Chief Executive Officer of Surrybee Nigeria Limited, a petroleum marketing company that grew into a reputable brand under his leadership.
Through Surrybee, he made significant contributions to the oil and gas sector, particularly within Ogun State and beyond, earning him recognition as both an industrialist and a committed business leader.
