Abuja – A total of ₦1.928 trillion, representing the Federation Account Revenue for November 2025, has been shared among the Federal Government, States, and Local Government Councils, the Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) confirmed at its December meeting in Abuja.

According to the FAAC communiqué, the total distributable revenue comprised ₦1.403 trillion statutory revenue, ₦485.838 billion from Value Added Tax (VAT), and ₦39.646 billion from the Electronic Money Transfer Levy (EMTL).

Gross revenue of ₦2.343 trillion was available in November, from which ₦84.251 billion was deducted for cost of collection, and ₦330.625 billion was allocated for transfers, interventions, refunds, and savings.

The Federal Government received ₦747.159 billion, while the State Governments got ₦601.731 billion. Local Government Councils were allocated ₦445.266 billion, and derivation revenue of ₦134.355 billion, representing 13 per cent of mineral revenue, was shared among the benefiting States.

On the breakdown of statutory revenue, the Federal Government got ₦668.336 billion, States received ₦338.989 billion, and LGs collected ₦261.346 billion.

From the VAT revenue of ₦485.838 billion, the Federal Government received ₦72.876 billion, State Governments ₦242.919 billion, and LGs ₦170.043 billion.

The EMTL proceeds saw the Federal Government receive ₦5.947 billion, States ₦19.823 billion, and LGs ₦13.876 billion.

The FAAC communiqué noted that while Excise Duty recorded a moderate increase, other revenue streams including Petroleum Profit Tax, Hydrocarbon Tax, Companies Income Tax, Oil and Gas Royalties, Import Duty, CET Levies, VAT, and EMTL recorded notable declines compared with October 2025 collections.
