Arsenal’s Premier League title aspirations took a hit as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Manchester United in a high-stakes clash at Old Trafford on Sunday.

The Gunners, who have been pushing for the top spot, dominated possession and created several chances but were unable to secure all three points against a resilient United side.

Belgian midfielder Leandro Trossard was among Arsenal’s most dangerous players, battling against United’s Moroccan defender Noussair Mazraoui in key moments of the game. Despite Arsenal’s attacking intent, Manchester United’s defense held firm, frustrating Mikel Arteta’s men.

Arsenal had hoped for a crucial victory to boost their title credentials, but a combination of missed opportunities and resolute defending from Erik ten Hag’s side saw the game end in a stalemate.

Speaking after the match, Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta acknowledged the disappointment but remained optimistic. “We controlled large parts of the game and had chances to win, but sometimes football doesn’t go your way. We will keep fighting until the end,” he said.
