As Muslims in Nigeria join their counterparts across the world to celebrate Eid-el-Kabir, the senator representing Ogun West Senatorial District, Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, has called on the faithful to offer prayers for national peace, stability, and the continued success of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Senator Adeola, who also chairs the Senate Committee on Appropriations, urged Muslims to remain committed to the core Islamic virtues of sacrifice, love, brotherhood, and peaceful coexistence, saying these values are essential for national cohesion and growth.

This was contained in a press statement issued on  Friday by his Media Adviser, Chief Kayode Odunaro, in which the senator used the opportunity of the Eid celebration to reflect on the administration’s journey and Nigeria’s collective aspirations.

“As the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu recently marked its two years in office with acclaimed positive indicators of escaping a total collapse of the economy and socio-economic achievements beginning to trickle down to the masses, the nation now more than ever needs peace, security, understanding, and sacrifice to consolidate these gains,” the senator said.

He further stressed that Nigerians must play active roles in ensuring the continuity of the reforms and development initiatives being implemented under Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

“We inherited deep-seated systemic challenges as a nation, but what we’re beginning to see is a steady move away from economic despair to sustainable recovery. The task ahead requires unity of purpose and strong support for ongoing efforts,” Adeola added.

While congratulating Muslims on the occasion, Senator Adeola reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to effective representation and development across Ogun West.

“I remain focused on ensuring that my constituents continue to benefit from quality representation through the delivery of democracy dividends such as educational support, road construction, provision of boreholes, transformers, and other social infrastructure,” he assured.
