The Owaloko of Iloko Ijesa, His Royal Majesty, Oba Akeem Olusayo Ogungbangbe, Ajagbusi Ekun VI, has extended his heartfelt felicitations to Nigerian Muslims as they mark the joyous occasion of Eid-il-Fitri.

In his goodwill message, the revered monarch reiterated the essence of peace, unity, and respect among Nigerians, irrespective of religious affiliations.

He commended the Muslim community for their steadfastness in faith and invaluable contributions to national development, urging them to continue embodying the principles of love, tolerance, and compassion.

“As we celebrate Eid-il-Fitri, let us reflect on the significance of this season—gratitude, selflessness, and devotion. This is a time for fostering peace, deepening our bonds as a people, and committing ourselves to the growth and stability of our nation,” Oba Ogungbangbe said.

The monarch called on Nigerians to embrace unity and collective responsibility in building a prosperous society.

He stressed that positive change can only be achieved when citizens work together with a shared vision.

He further emphasized the importance of supporting the less privileged, reminding the people that the true essence of the season lies in acts of kindness and generosity.

“It is our duty to extend love and care to those in need. A society where we uplift one another is a society destined for greatness,” he added.

Reaffirming his commitment to fostering harmony and development in Iloko Ijesa and beyond, the Owaloko expressed his hopes for a more prosperous Nigeria.

He prayed for divine blessings upon the nation and its citizens while urging leaders at all levels to prioritize policies that promote inclusivity, economic growth, and national unity.

“As leaders, we must create an environment where all citizens feel valued and empowered. Let us work tirelessly towards a nation where everyone, regardless of background, has the opportunity to thrive,” he stated.

His Royal Majesty concluded by encouraging Muslims to continue in their faith and dedication to the country’s progress, noting that their prayers and good deeds will contribute immensely to national development.
