“We are pleased to invite the general public, especially football lovers, to come and witness top-tier matches as the football finals for both female and male categories take center stage tomorrow,” the statement read.

Akinmade further disclosed that the event is expected to be graced by the Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, along with members of the State Executive Council, friends of the government, and several other dignitaries.

“Governor Dapo Abiodun, members of his cabinet, and other important stakeholders will be in attendance to cheer the athletes and celebrate the success of Gateway Games 2024,” the statement added.

He emphasized that the festival has so far showcased remarkable sporting talents across different disciplines and urged residents and visitors to show support for the finalists by attending the closing matches.

“This final football match is not just about the competition—it’s a celebration of unity, excellence, and sportsmanship. It promises to be entertaining and inspiring,” Akinmade added.
