Senator Solomon Adeola, representing Ogun West and chairman of the Senate Committee on Appropriations, has extolled the virtues of Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on her 65th birthday, describing her as a true mother of the nation.
In a statement released on Sunday by his Media Adviser, Chief Kayode Odunaro, Adeola celebrated the First Lady for her remarkable achievements, including being the only woman to have served as First Lady at both the state and federal levels and thrice consecutively elected as a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
According to him, Senator Tinubu is a blessing to many individuals, himself inclusive, and to Nigeria as a whole.
He said, “I want to heartily rejoice with Her Excellency, Senator Tinubu who I regard as my mother on this joyous landmark occasion. I thank God for her life and all she does for me, others and the nation. She is truly a patriotic Nigerian who has contributed immensely to the development of the nation.”
The lawmaker commended her for her consistent humanitarian services to women, the underprivileged, and distressed Nigerians, stressing that her commitment to the Renewed Hope Agenda through the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI) is a major contribution to national development.
He prayed that the First Lady continues to enjoy long life, sound health, and divine wisdom to sustain her impact on humanitarian and national growth.
