Paris Saint-Germain staged a dramatic late comeback before edging Tottenham Hotspur 4–3 on penalties to claim the 2025 UEFA Super Cup in Udine, Italy.

Spurs appeared on course for victory after Micky van de Ven struck just before halftime and Cristian Romero doubled the lead early in the second half. But Luis Enrique’s men refused to bow, with Lee Kang-in pulling one back in the 85th minute and Gonçalo Ramos heading home deep into stoppage time to force penalties.

Although Vitinha missed PSG’s opening spot kick, the French champions converted their next four through Ramos, Dembélé, Lee and Mendes.

Tottenham faltered, with Van de Ven denied and Mathys Tel firing wide, leaving them to regret a wasted 2–0 advantage.

The victory adds the Super Cup to PSG’s Champions League triumph earlier this year, underlining their growing dominance in Europe despite a recent Club World Cup setback against Chelsea.

For Spurs, it was a night of heartbreak, as Thomas Frank’s side allowed their grip on a maiden Super Cup title to slip away in the dying minutes.
