President Bola Tinubu has congratulated three Nigerian teenagers, Nafisa Abdullahi Aminu, Rukayya Muhammad Fema, and Hadiza Kashim Kalli, for their outstanding performance at the 2025 TeenEagle Global competition held in London, United Kingdom.

The students emerged as world champions in English language communication skills and debate. Seventeen-year-old Nafisa was named the overall best in English language skills, while 15-year-old Rukayya won the overall best in debate. Hadiza Kashim Kalli clinched the outstanding talent award, earning a gold medal.

In a statement released by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu described the girls as “exceptional young Nigerians” whose achievements reflect the nation’s bright future.

“The nation’s future is much brighter with many of its youth as repositories of excellence,” the President stated.

He also commended the institutions that nurtured the girls, stressing that their global success was a clear indication of the potential and quality of Nigeria’s education system.

President Tinubu used the moment to reiterate his administration’s belief in education as a cornerstone for national development.

He pointed to the government’s efforts in removing financial obstacles for students from poor backgrounds through the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND).
