Senator representing Ogun West Senatorial District, Solomon Adeola, has expressed appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, former Ogun State Governor, Chief Olusegun Osoba, and the state governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, for their goodwill messages and felicitations on his 57th birthday.
In a statement issued on Wednesday by his Media Adviser, Chief Kayode Odunaro, Senator Adeola said he was overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and goodwill from political leaders, government officials, traditional rulers, religious leaders, friends and supporters who celebrated him on his birthday.
Adeola particularly thanked President Tinubu for what he described as his continuous fatherly love and guidance, while also appreciating Osoba and Abiodun for their support and commitment to him.
“I want to specially thank my father and mentor, President Tinubu, for his continuous fatherly love and guidance. I thank my leader, Chief Olusegun Osoba, and the governor of Ogun State, Prince Abiodun, for their steadfast love and commitment to me as expressed in their messages. It was indeed overwhelming,” he said.
The senator also expressed appreciation to the Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Oludaisi Elemide, members of the Assembly, former Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Tunji Egbetokun, as well as other elected officials and political appointees who attended his birthday celebration in Ilaro.
He said the presence and sacrifices of his supporters would not be taken for granted, adding that the prayers and goodwill of clerics, traditional rulers and political leaders who attended the event would yield positive results.
“I will not take this outpouring of love and the sacrifices made for me for granted,” Adeola stated.
The birthday celebration, held in Ilaro under the chairmanship of Hon. Gboyega Nosiru Isiaka, also attracted prominent personalities, including High Chief Bode Mustapha, the Osi of Egbaland, and High Chief Victor Alonge, President of the Nigerian Institute of Estate Surveyors and Valuers.
The event also featured the presentation of 20 campaign buses donated by supporters of the senator.
Adeola’s appreciation came after President Tinubu publicly congratulated him on his 57th birthday, describing him as a dedicated public servant and dependable political ally.
