Governor Dapo Abiodun has approved the reconstruction of more roads across Ogun State, including the 9.2km Akute-Agbado (Lateef Jakande) Train Terminal corridor and the 5.4km Ogbeere-Orita Mobi Junction Road in Ijebu East Local Government.
The governor gave the approval during the State Executive Council meeting held on Wednesday, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to consistent infrastructural development across the state.
Other roads approved for reconstruction include the 3.2km Erinlu-Imosan Road and the 2.0km Imodi-Imosan Road, both in Odogbolu Local Government.
The council also approved the procurement of ultra-modern security equipment to strengthen the state’s security architecture and safeguard critical infrastructure.
Governor Abiodun further commended the level of work done at the Onijaganjagan Independent Power Plant, assuring residents of Abeokuta and its environs of regular power supply soon.
It will be recalled that the governor recently approved eleven other road projects across Ogun State, as part of ongoing efforts to open up more communities and improve infrastructure.
