Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has approved a minor reshuffle in the State Executive Council, reassigning some commissioners to new ministries in a move aimed at strengthening governance and driving the ARISE Agenda.
The announcement was contained in a statement issued on Monday by the Secretary to the State Government, Prince Enobong Uwah, who explained that the changes were made to enhance service delivery and align ministries with the administration’s development blueprint.
According to the statement, Capt. Iniobong Ekong (retd.) has been redeployed to the Ministry of Trade and Investment, while Dr. Ubong Inyang has been assigned to the Ministry of Lands and Town Planning, a position previously held by Ekong.
Prince Uwah said the reassignment takes immediate effect, stressing that the governor remains committed to ensuring that members of the State Executive Council deliver on their mandates to meet the expectations of Akwa Ibom residents.
